The Garden Room We are proud to introduce
our new Garden Room. Our individually designed Garden Rooms
are tailor made by our craftsman to suit your individual requirements.
We want you to complement your garden space with a building
of superior quality both inside and out, providing you with
an extension to your home for living, entertaining or simply
relaxing.
Our spacious Garden Rooms will be insulated, lined with wood
and then painted for the lighter finish if you desire. Your
building will be double glazed, installed with electrical
fittings and finished with the finest of window and door furniture.
Choose from a hipped or gabled roof and pick one of our fabulous
colours to make your personalised Garden Room just perfect.
Construction:
Ex 19mm shiplap on an ex 38 x 75mm
studwork all using high-grade Scandinavian redwood.
The walls are lined with a sisal craft breathable
membrane and rock wall insulation.
Roof:
Ex 19 x 125mm tongue and groove
matchboarding on solid timber rafters. This is covered
with a choice of slate-effect tiles or blue label
cedar shingle roofing. Choice of either hipped or
gabled roof.
Doors:
Ex 75 x 75mm planed door frames.
Joinery-made doors double-glazed and fitted with
mortice lock and superior quality brass fittings.
Windows:
Four number Georgian
Style Double Glazed windows with Joinery made frames.
Floor:
19 x 125mm tongue and groove floorboards
on 38 x 75mm tanalized planed floor joists set at
no less than 450mm centres.
Exterior Paint:
A choice of 12 colours from our
Valtti™ Colour Range. This fully opaque Scandinavian
coating system will enhance any building giving
an extremely durable low maintenance solid colour
finish. This system has been proved to give the
best possible protection for exterior timber, or
a choice of six colours from our Sikkens Colour
Range. This provides long lasting protection for
your building yet still allowing the grain to be
seen enhancing the natural beauty of the timber.
Sikkens was proven to be the best translucent wood
stain in trials carried out by TRADA (The Timber
Research and Development Association).
Interior Paints:
MDF painted or matchboard lined
walls to customers’ specification. Solid wood
coving and skirting boards.
