Frequently asked questions
The best value garden rooms are the log cabin because of the thickness of the logs at 44mm. On a standard garden room you would need to pay extra to line and insulate which ultimately adds to the price.
Yes. As well as a all the standard sizes as per above we are able to make log cabins to order. If you are not sure about the exact size you require ask us about a free site survey.
Our log cabins are available in three different thicknesses 19mm, 28mm and 44mm.
Once a log cabin is installed we recommend that you treat it with an oil or solvent based treatment within the first two weeks. Then on an annual basis thereafter.Â
The best type of base would be one made from paving slabs or a solid concrete. We also recommend our “Cousins Easi-Base System” made from 50 x 75mm sawn pressure treated timber with 80mm screws for fixing.
