Frequently asked questions

Affordability is perhaps the most important consideration for any homeowner. Conservatories vary greatly in price, starting at around £10,000 right up to over £100,000. Costs will be influenced by size, material, design, roof, glazing type, and site. It’s also worth visiting our vast show centre where we can give you guideline prices for models as displayed.

Usually the answer is no, as long as the conservatory does not cover more than half your garden area.

There are exceptions, such as installing conservatories on Listed Buildings or in conservation areas, so, if you’re unsure, it’s always best to check with your local authority.

Although planning permission is not usually required, your conservatory installation will need to comply with current Building Regulations.

Most of our garden buildings can be installed within a single day. Of course, timescales will depend on the size and complexity of the installation. A free survey will give you a general idea of what timescale to expect.
